The Haemochromatosis Helpline is run by volunteers who have been trained to help.

In addition, all of our volunteers are either affected by GH themselves, or have a family member who is affected. This means that they understand what you are dealing with, what you may be feeling, and the importance of getting answers to your questions.

Free and confidential

The helpline is entirely free, and is totally confidential. We do not retain any recordings of calls, and we do not ask you for your name or other identifying details.

You can be assured of a safe and friendly ear.

Our 03030 401102 number is a local call rate number, there are no premium charges to pay.

Because this is a volunteer service, if you do not get an answer straight away, please leave your number and we will return your call. You do not have to leave your name if you prefer not to. Recordings are deleted once we have called you back.

The number to ring is 03030 401102.
